6 pm, Munich, Germany - COCKTAILS AND BOOK TALES

t's time for a drink! I am hungry, and I know that delicate fingerfood will be served soon at the Kaufmanns Casino in Munich. The only comfort I have here in my office is that my husband Eberhard promised to bring me some of the tasty meatballs and shrimps, when the ILAB Pop Up Fair in Munich will be finished. This will be, maybe, around 10 pm. At that time most of the ILAB Pop Ups in Europe (except Stockholm) will have closed their doors, and we will be turning our heads to the United States.

Back to Munich, back to Cocktails and Book Tales. Around hundred booklovers are having a good time at the Kaufmanns Casino, first listening to an inspiring lecture by the renowned, no: legendary collector and publisher Klaus G. Saur, then browsing the tables where 11 antiquarian booksellers from Munich have spread out books, autographs and prints. If you feel inclined to buy, no-one will stop you, but the emphasis is on the conversation: “Cocktails and Book Tales” in the real sense of the word. Enjoy!

The ILAB booksellers of Abeceda Antiquariat Christof Groessl · Hartung & Hartung · J. J. Heckenhauer · Eberhard Köstler oHG · Kunkel Fine Art · Antiquariat Kurz · Antiquariat Dasa Pahor · Thomas Rezek · Uwe Turszynski are welcoming their guests in Munich.
